CENTER OF EXCELLENCE

Observational Regional Anesthesia Education for CRNAs

LifeLinc Academy is proud to be partnering with Halyard Health/Avanos Medical to provide observational regional anesthesia education for CRNAs interested in advancing their Acute Pain Management acumen within our Center of Excellence (COE).

At the Center of Excellence, attendees will spend two days (Monday/Tuesday) observing Acute Surgical Pain Management Fellows while performing interventional acute pain techniques for patients undergoing surgical care across multiple service lines.

In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to join LifeLinc Academy and Halyard Health/Avanos Medical personnel for an informal dinner presentation to discuss current evidence-based acute pain topics. Our objective is for COE attendees to exit with the necessary skills and knowledge to positively impact lives in their communities.

Below is feedback from one of our most recent attendees:

“Thank you for the educational opportunity.  The training in Hopkinsville did meet my expectations and has had an immediate impact on my practice. Working with Patrick and his colleagues has given me the knowledge and confidence to perform the blocks learned; yesterday I did the IPACK and adductor canal block for a total knee (1st IPACK done at my facility). Dr. Patrick Moss is an incredible asset for anyone that works with or around him. His communication abilities are on the highest level. His ability to teach complicated material and techniques is the best I have ever experienced. Chad Bazzell has become an instrumental asset to me and our organization as we seek to decrease opioid use in our anesthetic practice, while improving our patients experience. Again, thank you for the opportunity. I look forward to working with you in the future.”
